Darsi Martin
Mike Pecar Sales is a hands on company that gives our dealers training and the tools to compete and succeed. We have an excellent reputation and rapport with specialty retailers and custom installers throughout Michigan, Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Indiana and Kentucky.
Darsi Martin, Office Manager, is a key liaison between the dealers and manufacturers. In addition to running the Mike Pecar Sales office, Darsi tracks shipments, provides information, and solves problems.
Darsi's background as Communication Director for the Central Business District Association of Detroit and her Bachelors degree in Journalism from Wayne State University provide her with the communications skills crucial to our business.
Mike Pecar
Mike Pecar, President and Founder of Mike Pecar Sales, has been passionately involved with specialty electronics since 1972. Mike became a manufacturers' representative in 1984 and founded Mike Pecar Sales in 1992.
Mike has a solid foundation in the audio/video industry. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lawrence Technological University.
Mike is well known in the industry and is a member of several organizations. He is active in the Electronic Representatives Association (ERA) and has served as Past President of the Michigan Chapter and as a National Vice President and Chairman of the Consumer Electronics Group for ERA. He served as President of the Independent Professional Representatives Association (IPRO) for 2001/02 and remained active in the organization which has recently become the CEDIA/IPRO Affinity Group.
Mike received a "Lifetime Achievement Award" from IPRO and is currently serving on the Advisory Council of the CEDIA/IPRO Affinity Group. He has completed a three-year executive education program to earn the designation "Certified Professional Manufacturers' Representative (CPMR).
